Rose Bikes, a German bicycle brand and specialized bike retailer, was established by Heinrich Rose in 1903 when he opened a small bicycle shop in Bocholt. Now in its fourth generation as a family-run company, Rose Bikes handcrafts each bicycle, ensuring custom-fit assembly.
In 1981, Rose Bikes made a strategic shift towards distributing Italian and Japanese racing bicycles, becoming the exclusive distributor of such bikes in Germany. Their reputation soared when they introduced their first mountain bike, celebrated for its lightweight frame, exceptional stability, and affordability. A significant milestone was reached in 2005 when Rose Bikes inaugurated their flagship store, Ross BIKETOWN, in Bocholt.
Their collaboration with Bocholt University of Applied Sciences has empowered the company to design bicycle frames with a deep understanding of modern materials and innovative propulsion concepts, further enhancing their product offerings
